Issaquah Highlands Community in Crisis Support Services
School closures, social distancing, and service interruptions will create hardships for our neighbors in Issaquah Highlands in the coming days, weeks, and possibly months. We know many of you are looking for ways to help in big and small ways. Highlands Council is creating a directory of neighbor to neighbor services specific to Issaquah Highlands.
Your contact information will be made public during this time of crisis. You can offer to help for free or for a fee, that is between you and the neighbor who needs the support. Highlands Council is not offering any endorsement of those who sign up to serve or vouching for anyone looking for support. This is purely a grassroots effort to connect neighbors in need to neighbors looking to help and is intended for Issaquah Highlands residents only.
Please sign up using the form below. New service providers and helpful neighbors will be added daily. To find them, use the category links or scroll down the page below the form.
If you are no longer available to offer your services to neighbors please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank You for Supporting the Neighbor to Neighbor Directory
When pandemic-related school closures, social distancing, and service interruptions created hardships for our neighbors in Issaquah Highlands, many of you looked for ways to help in big and small ways. Highlands Council created a directory of neighbor-to-neighbor services specific to Issaquah Highlands, and residents immediately flooded the site with offers of free babysitting, errand running, meal delivery, tutoring, and more. Now that the state has reopened and many neighbors are returning to “normal” routines and activities, Highlands Council has decided to discontinue the Neighbor to Neighbor Directory with the hope that we may offer a similar resource in the future.
Thank you to all the generous neighbors who offered their time and support to others during the pandemic crisis.
