Mobile Pet-Care Services Coming to Bark Park

By July 26, 2021January 3rd, 2022IHCA

The Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) welcomes Dog Hair Don’t Care LLC to the Issaquah Highlands Bark Park. Dog Hair Don’t Care is a mobile pet-service company offering ear cleanings, nail clippings, and gland expression.

The business began operations in March 2020 and currently operates at Marymoor Park in Redmond and Magnuson Dog Park in Seattle, building a regular clientele in the Seattle area. Issaquah Highlands residents and regular Dog Hair Don’t Care clients approached the IHCA about the possibility of bringing the business to Issaquah Highlands. Knowing we have demand for these services in our community, we are excited to announce Dog Hair Don’t Care is approved to operate at the Bark Park up to three days a week to provide services. Dog Hair Don’t Care’s schedule is posted on their website.

We are organizing an event to launch Dog Hair Don’t Care in the Issaquah Highlands community. Join us at the Issaquah Highlands Bark Park (see map) on Saturday, July 31, 2021, 12-1 p.m. This small event will include handouts from King County Animal Services, including brochures and licensing applications, and a visit from Issaquah Ice Cream Trike. The IHCA will give away pup cups to the first 50 dogs; ice cream is also available for purchase.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Jordan.R@ihcommunity.org.

Jordan Rousu is the IHCA administrative assistant.
