IHCA Annual Collection Drive for the Food & Clothing Bank

The IHCA is sponsoring an Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank donation center located outside the IHCA offices at 1011 NE High Street, Suite 210, Issaquah, from November 18 through December 13. Please join us in donating gently used clothing and food donations.

King5 Home Team Harvest

“KING 5 invites you to join us for the 19th annual Home Team Harvest event, benefiting Northwest Harvest, on Saturday, December 7th. This year’s goal is to raise enough funds and donations to provide seven million meals for families in need in Washington state!

Along with our partners AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, Safeway and Albertsons, WARM 106.9 and Northwest Harvest, we invite you to join us in the fight against hunger on Saturday, December 7th. Visit us at one of these six locations between 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. as we collect non-perishable food and cash donations from the community.

  • Appearance by Seahawks mascot Blitz from 7:00am – 7:45am.  He’ll be randomly surprising people who donate Hunger Bags with a $100 gift card, as well as taking photos with all who want them.
  • Free face painting and balloon artist.
  • KING 5 talent, broadcasting live.
  • Free holiday cookies, coffee and samples of the new Cosmic Crisp apples.
  • Live Remote from WARM 106.9 – “The Christmas Music station.”

Donate and meet some of your favorite TV faces and radio voices: Steve Bunin, Ben Dery, Michelle Li and Susannah Frame from KING 5 and Laurie Hardie from WARM 106.9″

This is the first year that KING 5’s Home Team Harvest has broadcasted from Issaquah and we hope to make it a tradition.  Come out the make it the winning site for Northwest Harvest donations!

Santa and EFR Reindeer Truck Tours Issaquah Highlands

Eastside Fire and Rescue’s (EFR) reindeer engine and Santa will drive around Issaquah Highlands on Sunday, December 15, starting around 3:00 pm. They will greet all the boys and girls and collect unwrapped toys for the Hopelink toy drive. More details to come!

Highlands Council, IHCA, and HFN offices, and Blakely Hall offices, will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday.
