This conference, hosted by the Issaquah Youth Advisory Board, seeks to educate younger youth on racism and the ways we see it in our country today. They hope to open up discussions regarding racism in which the youth will have a safe place to share their thoughts so attendees can better understand current events. This event will be specifically in the context of the experience and oppression of Black Americans.
All youth welcome between grades 6-12.
