East King County Transportation Forum

October 22, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

With more global warming pollution coming from transportation than from any other sector, it’s time to move to 100% clean transportation. Together we accomplished 100% clean electricity last year during the legislative session; now we can take the next step forward for climate action.

Please join us for an East King County Transportation Forum in Issaquah.

Come hear about some of the good things happening in Issaquah in the transportation realm. We will discuss some of the challenges we face locally and statewide, and how we can meet them together!

Electric vehicles out front for show and tell 5:30-6:30!

This is a free event, open to the public. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

RSVP here.

Speakers include:

  • Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility representative speaking about the health and climate impacts from our current transportation system
  • Kelsey Mesher, Transportation Choices Coalition,  to speak to local transportation good news and challenges as well as the threats posed by Initiative 976.
  • Kelly Hall, Climate Solutions, covering the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency clean fuels rule, and Clean Fuels Standard in 2020 legislature
