Family Beach Bingo

Are you looking for a fun activity for your family during Spring Break? Family Beach Bingo is just around the corner on Friday, April 12, from 6-8 pm! Join us at Blakely Hall for a sneak peek into summer, and the chance to win great prizes from local businesses! All ages welcome! $10 per person.

Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day

Where: Blakely Hall (and across Issaquah Highlands)
When: Saturday, April 20, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

You are invited to roll up your sleeves and join in the annual city-wide clean up! Check-in at Blakely Hall and spend a couple of hours making a difference in our community!

All are welcome, including individuals, families, and groups. There are jobs for all ages and abilities – come dressed to get a little messy! Participants are encouraged to bring their own work gloves. Students can earn community service hours. Bring a friend, meet neighbors, and make a difference in your community.

The Village Market at Issaquah Highlands – Spring Pop-Up

The spring pop-up features gardening supplies and plants, artisanal home décor, nature-themed goodies and more. Spring into Fitness

Where: Blakely Hall
When: Saturday mornings in May, 9-10 a.m.

Join local fitness instructors for a free morning workout every Saturday in May. This is a great way to try a variety of workouts and get ready for summer! Each workout is appropriate for all fitness levels.

On the first Saturday, May 4, come have fun with the Studio in true 80’s fashion! This cardio and conditioning class will have you moving to the upbeat music you loved from the 1980s!

On the second Saturday, May 11, feel the benefits of an efficient and effective Barre3 workout by combining strength, cardio and mindfulness to leave you feeling balanced and empowered.

On the third Saturday, May 18, get to know Infinite Taekwondo Academy! Master Euna Lee uses traditional Taekwondo training to help develop strength, fitness, coordination, speed and flexibility.

On the fourth Saturday, May 25, stop by a yoga session to remember for both the body and the mind with Pineapple Life Yoga. Enjoy the benefits of increased focus and clarity, improved flexibility and mobility, and an overall sense of calm.

Cram for Exams

Where: Blakely Hall
When: Sunday, May 5, 1-5 p.m.

Enjoy a change of scenery to boost your brain power! Blakely Hall will be open to any high school students looking for a place to study for exams. Individual study space and study groups welcome. Free pizza, snacks and beverages will be provided, courtesy of the Highlands Youth Advisory Board (HY) and Highlands Fiber Network (HFN).

Open Mic & Karaoke Night

When: Friday, May 10, 7-8:30 p.m.

Join us for an evening of fun and entertainment from local talents. Come to sing a song, play music, read poetry, tell a story, perform stand up comedy, etc., or just join the audience. Make sure to invite family and friends to support our local talent here in Issaquah Highlands. All ages are welcome to participate!

Community Safety Meeting

When: Thursday, May 16, 7-8:30 p.m.

Join fellow neighbors for an informational meeting with Issaquah Police Department officers and city staff. This meeting will include information about wildfire safety for the upcoming summer season.

Issaquah Highlands LEGO® Expo

Where: Blakely Hall
When: Sunday, June 2, 1-4 p.m.

Calling all LEGO® hobbyists, fans and families! All ages welcome to the biggest LEGO event ever held in Issaquah! The fun includes hands-on activities, LEGO displays and models, shopping and photo ops. This event is designed to bring people together and provide kids with a hands-on activity to stimulate their brains over summer break.

The LEGO Expo is free to attend, but to streamline the entry process at the LEGO Expo, please register for an entry time – each household should register on their own. Registered attendees will not only receive guaranteed entry to the event, but all kids in the party will receive a special take home LEGO kit (registered attendees only). If your plans change after registration, please let us know so we can open your slots up to someone else. Thank you!

Community-Wide Garage Sale

Where: Neighborhoods across Issaquah Highlands
When: Saturday, June 15 (all day)

Whether it’s a yard sale or a garage sale, it’s a community tradition! Sell or shop throughout the community at the semi-annual Issaquah Highlands Community-Wide Garage Sale. Selling limited to Issaquah Highlands residents only; shopping open to the public. 

Community-wide garage sales are held twice a year (typically the third Saturday in June and September), as approved by the Issaquah Highlands Community Association.

Join friends and neighbors at Village Green for fun, food, and free entertainment to celebrate culture and community! Each event honors a different culture in Issaquah Highlands.

Eid al-Adha: On Friday, June 21, enjoy delicious Shawarma as well as lively music, art projects and a variety of fun activities.

Mexican Fiesta: On Friday, Aug. 9, join the celebration with music and dancing, tasty treats from Cafecito Mexican Bakery, drinks (including margaritas and beer), piñatas and vibrant art.

Highlands Council partnered with the Woodland Park Zoo’s Carnivore Coexistence Action Team to develop a fun, 12-stop adventure called “Crossing Paths with Carnivores” that will lead you to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete adventures one location at a time. Learn More
