Sip. wine bar and restaurant in Issaquah Highlands officially opened for business on
Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Issaquah-area patrons enjoy Sip.’s extensive wine list
and deliciously diverse menu offerings seven days a week. The hot spot is located
at 1084 NE Park Drive in the Highlands, and is open daily for dinner. Hours of
operation are Sun-Thurs 5 p.m. to Midnight, and Fri-Sat 4 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Sip
plans to expand hours of operation to include lunch in the near future.
Prior to opening, Sip held several VIP event nights for members of the community,
as well as friends and family of the owners and staff. During the events, attendees
sampled the menu, sipped wine, and toured the new restaurant; guests were also
given the opportunity to make a donation to the National MS Society. Thanks to
the generosity of the patrons, the fundraiser was a huge success, and Sip was able
to donate nearly $4,000 to the Washington Chapter of the MS Society.

exciting to introduce our new concept to the community, and it was great honor
to be able to donate to a worthy cause at the same time.” “It’s been wonderful to
see such a positive response from the community during our first week open,’
Scelzi continued, ‘Issaquah is a great place and we’re looking forward to serving our
guests for many years to come.”

and offers seating for 160 patrons. Sip features a unique 38 seat bar, an outdoor
trellis covered patio with a stone fireplace, and a casually stylish indoor seating
atmosphere reminiscent of wineries found along the California coastline. The bar
and interior accents, crafted out of 100 year old fir wood, along with an elaborate
floor to ceiling wine display add to the restaurant’s old world charm.
