Ceiling insulation is also quite economical. In this home, ceilings are insulated to code levels (R-38) or above, using
environmentally-friendly cellulose, and formaldehyde-free fibergalss batts, depending on location and access requirements.
Trusses are raised at the point where the roof meets the wall, which allows full depth insulation to the outer edge of the
exterior walls.
