Over the holidays, the merchants at High Street at Issaquah Highlands sponsored a holiday ornament coloring contest. Free blank ornaments, featuring a story about how the holidays are celebrated in one of the world’s countries, were made available from each High Street merchant as part of a neighborhood coloring contest. The ornaments could be decorated singly or as an entire set. A panel of judges recently reviewed all the entries from local children and awarded prizes for the most creative designs. Prizes included $50 in cash to ten talented kids, whose work is shown below.
